Eric Johnston is the Chief Financial Officer and has provided financial oversight for over 20 years, and began working full-time for us in 2020. He retired from the TDCJ as the Director of Commissary & Trust Fund in 2020 after 31 years. He started as a correctional officer and completed his BBA in Accounting at Sam Houston State University while working at the Walls Unit. He has served on local Boards and chaired the City of Huntsville Planning Commission for 15 years. His experience in leadership roles in finance and correctional administration will serve Lone Star Commissary and our customers well.
