Barry Caver is our Director of Business Development and joined us in 2025. He has been in law enforcement for 48 years, beginning in 1976 with the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office in Lufkin, and later joining the Diboll Police Department in 1978.  He was accepted into the training academy of the Texas Department of Public Safety in 1979, where he spent 29 years.  Barry had the privilege of serving as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper, Texas Highway Patrol Sergeant, Texas Ranger Sergeant, Texas Ranger Lieutenant, and Texas Ranger Captain, Company “E,” stationed in Midland, until retirement. In 2017, he was appointed by the Denton County Sheriff as the Assistant Chief Deputy and Jail Administrator at the 7th largest jail in Texas.  Barry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University in Commerce and is also a graduate of the 201st session of the FBI National Academy.
